Our Tok Pisin tutors
We employ a full-time tutor, Deborah Salle, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and Modern Languages from the University of Papua New Guinea and has completed several modules in TEFL. With five years of experience tutoring Tok Pisin to expatriates, she develops lesson materials aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Additionally, we have a part-time tutor, Clementina Supru, who brings 30 years of teaching experience and holds a Bachelor in Education, majoring in English and a Master of Arts from Auckland University. She currently lectures part-time at the University of Papua New Guinea and substitutes for Deborah Salle as needed.
Both tutors are native Tok Pisin speakers.
Our Commitment
We are deeply committed to delivering lessons that enhance practical skills. To achieve this, we have invested time in learning TEFL methodologies, which we incorporate into our activities.
Our activities focus on developing speaking skills, ensuring you can engage in conversations within specific contexts in real life. You will not only be able to speak but will also sound like a native speaker.
We are members of the Canadian Second Language Teachers Association to foster professional growth and adhere to best practices. Additionally, we are in discussions with NILE to participate in their Materials Development for Language Education program, aiming to create professional learning materials, textbooks, and audio-visual content to facilitate Tok Pisin language learning.
Collaboration and Feedback
Your feedback on our courses is highly valued. We provide a feedback form at the end of our courses to gather your insights.
